Images as SEO

We all know how important photos are for the web, how images make things look good and help get a point across. But it is sometimes hard to find the photos that you need, especially for a small town area or a specific area in a large city.

This is why I recommend using a camera and going out and taking pictures of the local area and uploading them on your website. You may not think that this is a good way to do SEO, but it really works well!

Giving these images away for free to people so they can use them for their website, creates traffic to your website and a value proposition for search engines like Google and Bing. They will rank your website in the image search as well as rank your website higher in regular search. This is done because people are finding value on your website and spending time there.

I know this can seem like a little bit of a work around, but adding value to the web is always a way to win. So I recommend going out in your area and taking pictures of different monuments, main areas, other businesses, streets and things that businesses would need pictures of, and offering them on your website.
